Liar, there’s like a million people who say I know that guy or that guy works at my office. if you really knew the guy you would have put a last name and how you know him.
Yes he used to manage the Hot Topic, and he used to go to the same coffee shop I did I have his phone number programed in my phone! I am not posting his name b/c I do not have his permission. Just my 2 cents worth.
As this is clearly at a con, and con people are the kinda people who love these sites (And con goers that pull awesome stunts like that are often well known) it’s not the unlikely. It’s not like someone saying “I totally know that guy!” about a foreign diplomat or something.
Leonard Nimoy’s image looks like it’s a bit flat, like a cardboard cutout not quite straight to the camera. Suppose if Shatner is also a cut-out but properly linedup? Then the goofiness makes more sense. It could even be a comic and collectible store set-up and that explains the yellow spider man mannequin being levered into frame.
Just to clarify, this was at Dragoncon 2009, where you could pay $$$ to have a photo op with the infamous Nimoy and Shatner, very Olan Mills style. My darling buddy Zombieboy (the cowboy, who WAS indeed wearing a kilt…), didn’t mind if a yellow and pink Spiderman (with boobs… hence.. me) waited in line with him.
Opportunity struck, and voila!
The BEST part was after the flash went off. Before us, Shat and Nimoy didn’t even acknowledge anyone. Shatner saw me out of the corner of his eye after the fact, turned, looked at me, looked at the photog, and said, in true Shat format, “Wait a minute… why are you… are you… what is… did you just… um…”
I smiled, said ‘Thank you Uncle Bill!’ in my best fangirl voice, and toddled off.
That’s freaking AWESOME. Interesting to hear they weren’t acknowledging anybody…guess I’m glad I didn’t bother. You guys totally got the BEST pictures! I was one of the interpreters, I have pictures of me with these two, but they’re not nearly as AWESOME as this.

Yeah I had to pay for it, but only half the price. The kid is absolutely growing up good and Marvel. Called him Zombaby for awhile but he prefers Tony Stark!
